TripAdvisor to feature private holiday homes
Rental home specialist Interhome has signed a deal with TripAdvisor to display its properties on the holiday review site.
Customers booking Interhome properties, which are all privately owned, will be able to submit reviews with TripAdvisor powering a review collection platform.
"With the support and assistance of TripAdvisor, Interhome will start processing and publishing client feedback on its site in the coming months," the Zurich-based company said in a statement issued today.
"In a parallel development, Interhome's international portfolio will be integrated into TripAdvisor’s rental listings in a phased approach."
Interhome CEO Simon Lehmann said the deal with TripAdvisor was a "major milestone" in the company's expansion. "Teaming up with the world's largest travel site opens up many exciting marketing and distribution opportunities for properties," he said.
“We are thrilled to partner with Interhome, as the company brings exceptional properties and a tremendous amount of local market expertise to the TripAdvisor community," said president of TripAdvisor for Business Christine Petersen. "Our goal is to offer travellers the best listings from partners who know the locations best.
"Our partnership demonstrates our belief and commitment to vacation rentals as an important accommodation option for travellers.”
