Tropical storm leaves Bermuda for Canada
Most flights were cancelled in and out of Bermuda yesterday as tropical storm Leslie hit the east of the island.
Bermuda was buffeted with winds and rain suspending ferry and bus services before the tropical storm started heading north towards the end of the day.
Weather experts predict the storm could affect the US East Coast, Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands and claim it could approach Canada’s Newfoundland tomorrow as a full blown hurricane.
