TTA appoints Apartments Abroad
Apartments Abroad has become an official business partner to the Travel Trust Association.
The deal give its 400-plus members access to preferential commission rates on the accommodation-only specialist’s global portfolio of more than 20,000 properties.
Discussions over extending the deal to Worldchoice agents will take place should the consortium’s merger with TTA be given court approval and the merged organisation formed next month.
Apartments Abroad already has preferred or approved supplier agreements in place with the Co-operative Travel Trading Group, Hays Travel’s Independence Group, Elite, Travelchoice, Harvey World Travel and TUI.
Sales and marketing director Keith Shaw said: “We are an independent serving the independent respectfully, responsibly and fairly and that is reflected in the preferred supplier status we now enjoy with thousands of agents across the UK.â€
