TTD: United Co-op to enhance online profile
United Co-op Travel Group is to raise the profile of its three main websites as part of a £1 million investment.
The group has taken on media planning and buying agency Global Media to drive traffic to cooptravelshop.co.uk, apollotravel.co.uk and cumbriacruise.co.uk through keyword advertising and affliate campaigns. The sites’ search engine optimisation will be enhanced to boost clicks to them.
UCTG ecommerce marketing manager Paul Drew said: “We are investing heavily in our websites this year to streamline their oepration and increase the number of hits and bookings to the site.”
Global Media managing director Neil McKay said: “We will be acting on an advisory basis to the group, analysing the current booking process on the sites to minimise drop-offs.”
