Tucan Travel gearing up for huge 20th birthday party sponsored by PromPeru
Tucan Travel is celebrating 20 years of operating adventure tours in Latin America on 27 March, 2007, with the event celebrating the success of Tucan Travel and its 18-35’s budget travel spin-off Budget Expeditions.
Including a special presentation on the history of the company and how it evolved from a small operation to one of the most popular Latin American adventure tour operators today, the official Peruvian Government Tourism Agency PromPeru has also offered key support for the event, providing a wonderful photographic exhibition directly from Peru to display on the night.
Tucan Travel Sales & Marketing Manager Richard Leonard said. “PromPeru’s decision to join Tucan Travel signified adventure travel’s growing force in the travel industry and we hope that this will be the beginning of a long, fruitful relationship between PromPeru and Tucan Travel in which we jointly push the profile of Peru as one of the destinations of adventure travel globally”.
The event will also feature Latin-themed music and entertainment including traditional Peruvian panpipe music, salsa dancing and authentic Capoeira demonstrations and attendees will have the opportunity to win a flight inclusive trip to Cambodia, or a trip to Peru (excluding flights) as well as many spot prizes to be found in a piñata.
Tucan Travel will also be launching a major prize competition at this event – a flight-inclusive Antarctica expedition.
