TUI Travel has promoted Marc Bennett to managing director of its sport division, EMEA.
Previously commercial director UK, Sports Division, Bennett now takes responsibility for all TUI Travel’s European sport businesses, including Thomson Sport, Events International, Gullivers Sports Travel, Sportsworld, Sport Abroad, Travel Sense and Tall Stories.
He will report to chief operating officer of TUI Travel’s Specialist & Activity Sector Darren Mee.
Bennett, a former professional rugby player, joined TUI Travel from Thomas Cook where he was commercial and cruise director.
