TUI brings January sale forward to launch today
TUI Travel is aiming to take a bigger slice of the early booking market for summer 2013 by launching its traditional January sale before Christmas.
While most of its competitors will wait until Boxing Day to announce the latest deals for summer holidays, TUI brands Thomson and First Choice have knocked up to £200 per couple off selected holidays for bookings from today.
They are also offering free kids places on selected holidays, which are normally reserved for the post-Christmas booking period.
The offers are available online and in retail shops. "We are expecting to see strong demand for summer holiday bookings, as last August there were very few holidays left for those looking for a late deal," said a TUI spokesperson.
Further reductions are available on selected holidays available both in store and online.
Andrew Flintham, planning and trading director for Thomson and First Choice, said: "The message is simple – we are dedicated to offering customers the holidays that suits not only their tastes, but also their budgets.
"We’re looking forward to a busy start to 2013 and with a wide range of new and exclusive product and thousands of free kids places available, we are expecting customers to book early to take advantage of these fantastic offers."
Key Campaign Highlights:
– Free Kids places in selected hotels including flagship properties – First Choice Holiday Villages, Thomson Family Resorts and First Choice Splashworld hotels
-Savings of up to £200 per couple booking for Summer 2013 departures
-Free board upgrades to all-inclusive available on selected holidays
The offers, which apply to Thomson, First Choice, Skytours, 2wentys and Simply summer 2013 holidays are available for bookings up to January 10 for Thomson and up to January 31 for First Choice.
