TUI promises no job losses despite shop closure plan
TUI is planning to close 34 shops over the next year but it plans to open others in different locations due to population changes and changing footfall.
It says it aims to redeploy all affected staff to other locations.
A spokesperson said: "We’re always looking for opportunities to become more effective and efficient.
"This is a continual process to ensure we’re evolving our business and ensure our stores are in the right places and we’ll continue to open, close and relocate stores."
TUI currently has 562 shops across the UK, which is slightly more than the 555 operated by Thomas Cook immediately prior to its collapse.
