TUI Travel enhances app range
First Choice has followed sister company Thomson and has launched a travel app.
The app, MyFirstChoice, is for iPhone and Android and provides information for customers who have booked their holiday, such as weather, holiday checklist and flight details.
TUI UK has also expanded the range of its MyThomson app, with the release of an Android version.
The MyThomson for iPhone app is currently number one in the Free Travel Apps chart and has over 10,000 customers logging in each day.
Thomson and First Choice marketing and digital director Jeremy Ellis, said: "Since we launched the MyThomson app last year, we’ve listened to feedback from our holidaymakers and we hope this evolving app will continue to enhance the holiday experience with us."
The updated MyThomson app will feature in a new 20-second advert, which forms part of Thomson’s current Simon the Ogre TV campaign.
