TUI unveils first routes for Dreamliner
TUI has unveiled next summer’s launch routes for its new 787 Dreamliner aircraft.
From May 1 2013, the new aircraft will fly to Cancun and Sanford Florida from London Gatwick, Manchester, East Midlands and Glasgow airports.
The operator claims the Dreamliner will revolutionise air travel for customers through "significant advances in in-flight comfort and wellbeing".
The details were announced as Thomson and First Choice launched their summer 2013 programmes, which go on sale on Thursday 26 April.
Both operators are featuring the destination of Costa Almeria in mainland Spain for the first time, with weekly flights from Manchester Airport throughout the summer.
From May 2013, 90% of Thomson’s holidays will be available Only from Thomson to UK customers.
New to Thomson’s Sensatori Collection is the Sensatori Turkey in Sorgun while Thomson Couples is introducing six new hotels to its collection for summer 2013 in the Maldives, Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic, Sharm el Sheikh, Tenerife, Croatia, and Crete.
Thomson Couples will also offer a new Couples Cruise onboard the Nile Legacy in Luxor.
First Choice is adding two new Holiday Villages for 2013 in Majorca and Kos, while three properties will join the SplashWorld collection in Sharm el Sheikh, Egypt and Tunisia.
