Tunisia gets a new face
Wahida Jaiet has been appointed the new UK and Ireland director of the Tunisian National Tourist Office (TNTO).
Jaiet, who takes over from Anissa Ramoundi, spent five years in senior positions at the national tourist board and was previously head of UK and Scandinavian markets at the TNTO’s head office in Tunis.
"With a new government in power and a new democracy taking shape, it’s certainly an exciting time to be involved in Tunisia’s tourism industry," said Jaiet.
"The British market bounced back quicker than any other and has become our third most important source of visitors. We will be working to extend our appeal here in the UK."
