TV star and retail expert lined up to speak at Advantage conference
Mary Queen of Shops, aka retail marketing consultant Mary Portas, has been lined up as a keynote speaker at the Advantage Conference next year.
Portas, who stars in the BBC series which helps revive the fortunes of high street shops, is credited with turning around the business of Harvey Nichols.
“Mary’s extensive experience in many aspects of retail sales will provide an invaluable insight for members in running their own businesses,†said Advantage sales and marketing director Colin O’Neill.
“We are confident that this insight will have equal value for leisure and corporate members.â€
The conference is due to take place in Madrid on May 6-8.
