Two key appointments at Amadeus
Amadeus IT Group has made two key appointments in the UK and Ireland.
Guy Snelgar becomes head of sales and consulting while John Prentice has joined as senior sales and consulting manager – leisure
Snelgar joins from GetThere, part of Sabre, where he was director for the EMEA region.
He has also held the titles of head of business development, and sales manager at the company.
Before joining Sabre, he worked for Portman Travel as online development manager and regional sales manager.
Prentice joins from My Vacations Group, where he was sales director.
Before that, he held directorial roles at Griffin Marine Travel and InterARGO Travel Group as well as sales roles at various airlines.
Both will be based at Amadeus UK’s head office at Gatwick Airport.
