Two passengers jump from Stena ferry
Rescue workers have called off the search for two passengers who reportedly jumped from a ferry into the North Sea yesterday morning.
The pair, thought to be Albanians, were amongst 13 people being deported from the UK after being found in a Belgian freight vehicle.
They jumped from the Stena Britannica off Hawich as it was travelling to the Hook of Holland, where 11 people are now in custody and being questions as part of an inquiry into human smuggling.
Rescue teams stood down after finding no signs of the pair who went overboard, but Suffolk coastguards are continuing to monitor the coastline.
