Uber expands in Europe’s top holiday hotspots
Uber is expanding across Europe’s top holiday destinations with new services including Uber Boat in Mykonos.
It added a private boat charter in Mykonos, available to book through the app.
Holidaymakers can now experience the island by sea, travelling between several points in Mykonos in speedboats accommodating up to eight people.
Following the launch of Uber Flights in the UK, Uber Boat is the latest travel offering after the launch of trains, hotels and experiences via the Uber app.
Uber is also expanding its Reserve, Comfort, and Taxi options across Europe.
Taxi will launch in Santorini and Mykonos and Uber Comfort will be live in Corfu, Mykonos, Santorini and Rhodes.
In addition to Greece, Uber is launching in two of Spain’s most popular tourist destinations.
Locals and travellers can request Uber Comfort, Reserve and Uber Van in Mallorca and Uber Black in Tenerife.
Uber will also integrate Taxi services into its app in both locations.
In France, Uber is launching its seasonal summer “pop-up” cities along the French Atlantic coast, including Biarritz, Saint-Jean-de-Luz, La Baule and Le Touquet.
The Uber Berline premium product launches in Bordeaux.
Anabel Diaz, Head of EMEA Mobility said: “We’re expecting tourism across Europe to reach record figures this summer.”
“That is why we’re launching Uber services across dozens of European vacation destinations.”
In Portugal, Uber is live across all of the Algarve coast.
Uber will be back in Sicily and Sardinia, in Malta and along the Croatian coast.
