Uganda Airlines launching London flights
Uganda Airlines is set to launch landmark flights to London Gatwick from 18 May.
The flag carrier will operate four weekly nonstop flights from Entebbe International Airport and London Gatwick.
This new route represents Uganda Airlines’ first flights to Europe and re-establishes a direct air link between Entebbe and the UK for the first time in nearly a decade.
The flights will operate on Airbus A330-800neo jets.
The schedule has been timed for convenience unlocking easy connections across Africa.
The airline flies from Entebbe to Harare, Lusaka, Nairobi, Lagos, Abuja, Juba, Mogadishu, Kinshasa, Mombasa, Bujumbura, Dar es Salaam, Zanzibar, Kilimanjaro and Johannesburg.
Tickets for the new Entebbe-London Gatwick route are now available through the Uganda Airlines website and app.
The airline will operate flights on Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday.
