UK cottages programme to be sold through trade
UK holiday cottages programme cottages4you has become available for sale by agents.
The company is offering retailers an introductory 20% discount so they can experience a cottage break.
And the first 25 agents to book a client on a holiday have a chance to win an iPod Nano.
A brochure features more than 3,400 properties while a further 12,000 are available through a new bookable agent’s website, www.cottages4you.travel.
The operator is providing agent training and has set up a specialist agent support line – 0845 268 1732 – for brochure orders all queries and to issue passwords to those booking customers’ holidays via the website.
The company has special offers and discounts available to customers including reductions for small parties using larger cottages on selected dates, ‘fourth night free’ on midweek breaks, and price cuts of up to 20% for dates up to July.
Geoff Cowley, managing director of parent company Holiday Cottages Group, said: “This is certainly an exciting time to be making our extended range of cottages available through the trade.
“We expect UK holidays to have a great year as the exchange rate makes euro-zone holidays more expensive and customers who normally holiday abroad, may need their agent’s help to find the best locations and lowest prices in Britain.”
