United Airlines appoints ANZ director of sales
United Airlines has named Julie Reid as director of sales for Australia and New Zealand.
Reid will take over in the Sydney based position on May 20 and will oversee all sales, marketing revenue management and administration functions.
She previously held the position of sales and marketing manager, Australia for Cathay Pacific where she was responsible for all sales and marketing strategies.
Prior to this, Reid held senior management positions in Australia, Hong Kong and the UK during a 13-year career at travel management company HRG.

Julie brings to her role nearly 30 years of extensive global experience within the aviation, travel and hotel sectors. I am confident that she will provide strong and inspiring leadership to the Australia and New Zealand sales team," said Alison Espley, managing director of Japan and Pacific sales at United Airlines.
