United Airlines/Cendant launch new travel management co.
United Airlines and Cendant Travel Distribution Services launched United GoBusiness, a travel management program designed for mid-size companies.
Said Graham Atkinson, senior vice president, United:
“United GoBusiness was created for mid-market customers who are moving toward online booking solutions, value exclusive travel deals and want help in better managing their travel expenses.”
The company will offer “guaranteed” discounts on published fares and no booking fees on all domestic bookings. Most international bookings will also have no fees.
United GoBusiness.com will leverage the core Orbitz technology platform that is also being deployed by Cendant Travel Distribution services. Cendant is hosting the Web site and providing hotel, car, airline content and other services.
