United Airlines launches Economy Plus bundled packages

Monday, 06 Jan, 2016 0
Travelers booking Economy Plus class with United Airlines can now add on extras with one of the carrier’s bundled packages.

United has begun offering ‘Economy Plus Essentials’ and ‘Economy Plus Enhanced’ packages and United says flyers can save up to 25% compared with booking the add-ons separately.

The Economy Plus Essentials bundle includes an extra legroom seat and one extra checked bag.

Economy Plus Enhanced offers additional benefits including priority check-in, boarding and security screening, a minimum of 500 extra award miles and a United Club trip pass.

After their flights, customers who sit in Economy Plus consistently report higher levels of satisfaction — including with parts of the travel experience outside of the aircraft," said United spokesman Rahsaan Johnson.

"By launching the product bundles shortly after the launch of the new united.com, we hope to make Economy Plus access easier and more attractive."
