United Airlines touchdown with extra Super Bowl flights
United Airlines is laying on an extra 15 flights to meet demand from Seattle and Denver fans when their teams do battle at Super Bowl XLVIII.
The flights will arrive at United’s hub at Newark Liberty, the most convenient airport to New Jersey’s MetLife Stadium where the big game takes place.
United are providing an additional two inbound flights each day on January 30 and 31 from both Seattle and Denver followed by an extra four return flights to Denver and three to Seattle, departing Newark on February 3.
Super Bowl XLVIII takes place on February 2.
These flights are in addition to United’s regular schedule from Denver to Newark Liberty and La Guardia airports.
It also operates two flight a day from Newark Liberty to Seattle.
United Airlines operates 400 flights a day out of Newark Liberty to over 150 North American and worldwide cities.
