United Co-op invest in new technology
United Co-op’s business division has signed a deal for Carrera Systems to supply its TravelPower mid and back office travel bookings systems at the agency’s 12 business offices.
It will initially be installed at United’s Stoke headquarters with the remainder being phased in by December.
The agency said it selected TravelPower for its high level of integration and automation of its post-booking invoicing, accounting procedures and reporting.
“We could immediately identify a number of areas where TravelPower would save us time and money,” said United travel system general manager Dave Picking.
