Universal Beijing unveils travel trade ticketing agents
Universal’s upcoming Beijing Resort has announced the first batch of travel trade partners.
Universal Beijing Resort tickets and packages will be sold direct and through third party authorised agents including online sites Trip.com and Lvmama.
UBR products can also be purchased offline at agencies such as Shanghai Airlines Holiday Tours, Wancheng Travel Agency and Beijing Tourism International Travel Service.
Products include park tickets, hotel packages and for special events held at the park.
The resort has opened a flagship store on Trip.com.
"We are committed to continuously expanding our partnership across industries in China, bringing an unprecedented theme-park experience for more Chinese guests," said Tom Mehrmann, President of Universal Beijing Resort.
"In the future, we will work with partners across industries to expand on more channels. This also represents our great confidence in the recovery and development of China’s cultural and tourist industry.
The resort is scheduled to open in mid-2021.
Universal unveiled more details about the resort at the China International Travel Mart this week.
Themed zones include Kung Fu Panda Land of Awesomeness, Transformers Metrobase, Minion Land, the Wizarding World of Harry Potter and Jurassic World Isla Nublar.
