Uniworld to offer Ganges cruise-tour packages
Luxury river cruise line Uniworld has a new Asian destination lined up for 2016 with cruise-tour packages to India.
From January 2016 the line will begin 12-night trips with seven-night river cruises on the Ganges River and a five-night land tour staying at upscale Oberoi hotels.
Voyages for the ‘India’s Golden Triangle & the Sacred Ganges’ voyage will take place aboard the all-suite Ganges Voyager II.
Onboard amenities include the Governor’s Lounge, a 360-degree observation deck, a spa and fitness centre, and the East India Restaurant.
The India itinerary includes visits to Delhi, the Taj Mahal, Jaipur, Rajasthan and Kolkata.
Uniworld also offers an optional two-night extension to the holy city of Varanasi, on the Ganges.
"This itinerary is ideal for travelers seeking exotic new horizons, something completely unlike anything else they’ve ever experienced," said Guy Young, President of Uniworld.
Uniworld’s India program is open for bookings on October 15, 2014.
