Unruly passenger pleads guilty to attacking flight attendant
An unruly passenger pleaded guilty to attacking a flight attendant on an easyJet flight from Manchester.
Colin Smith, 51 admitted he was drunk after downing nearly a full bottle of whiskey.
He stood up when in seatbelt on mode and when approached, he attacked a flight attendant unprovoked.
Smith lunged at her, grabbing her neck with both hands.
After being restrained, the unruly passenger continued lashing out.
In court he ‘expressed remorse’ for his behaviour.
