US High Speed Rail looks forward to working with new DOT chief
U.S. High Speed Rail Co-Chair Ray LaHood has welcomed President-elect Trump’s nomination of former Congressman Sean Duffy as the next Secretary of the U.S. Department of Transportation:
LaHood is a former U.S. Transportation Secretary.
“U.S. High Speed Rail congratulates Sean Duffy on his nomination.:”
“We look forward to working with him to advance the progress of high-speed rail projects across the country.”
“A clear majority of voters support the construction of a nationwide high-speed rail network, as more than two dozen nations have done, with China now leading the way,” LaHood said.
“The American people want and deserve a high-speed rail network that reduces gridlock, creates jobs, and helps America lead the world in the 21st century.”
