Vale – David Gool passes away
Jackie Foggitt, a close friend and colleague of David Gool [pictured right] has asked TravelMole to advise industry colleagues and friend’s of David’s passing on Christmas Eve and to provide the detials of the Memoral Service to celebrate Davids’ life, this Wednesday 2 January.
This is what Jackie said: –
David Gool the well known travel identity passed away from a heart attack on Christmas Eve in Sydney.
With a long career including spells with Qantas, Cunard, Carlson Marketing, Group Event Travel and most recently Medical Meetings/Face to Face, he was a charming and colourful character.
A memorial service will be held at St. Johns Church, 120 Darlinghurst Rd
Darlinghurst, NSW 2010, Australia, +61 2 9360 6844, at 1100 on Wednesday 2 January, with drinks to celebrate his life at The Tilbury Hotel, Woolloomolloo from 1230.
