Varig to start Sao Paulo and Rio flights
Varig has begun selling tickets for its London to São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro flights launching on October 29.
The launch flight will leave London Heathrow Airport at 10:05pm, making a stop at Sao Paulo’s Guarulhos International Airport at 8:15am (local time), before arriving at Rio de Janeiro’s Tom Jobim Airport at 10:00 am.
On the return flight, customers will depart Rio de Janeiro’s Tom Jobim Airport at 8:30pm (local time), making a stop at Sao Paulo’s Guarulhos International Airport at 9:30pm (local time), before continuing to the British capital arriving at 3:00pm (local time).
The airline said business travel and tourism between England and Brazil is a key reason for launching this new route.
