Vegas aging but still satisfying
Visitors to Las Vegas are getting younger but an overwhelmingly number remains satisfied with their trip, according to the city’s latest Visitor Profile Study.
Ninety-four percent of visitors were “highly satisfied” with their trip there.
The city’s largest audience is still the baby boomer generation but the overall average age has decreased from 49 to 47.7%, the latest study found.
Visitors are also spending more money in Vegas in part because of the growing number of dining and shopping options. The average gaming budget per trip was $627, compared to $545 the previous year.
Asked how they booked their hotel, 45% of survey respondents said they called directly.
Another 40% said they used the internet in some way to plan their trip.
Southern California continues to be Las Vegas’s top market.
