Victory Cruise Lines extends suspension through June

Thursday, 23 Apr, 2020 0

Victory Cruise Lines has revised its cruise schedules, with one of its two ships staying in port for the remainder of 2020.

In response to the ongoing restrictions in North America to combat the Covid-19 pandemic, the suspension of VCL’s Victory I ship is extended until June 30, 2020.

For impacted guests, ‘no action is necessary at this time.’

The company will reach out to guests and travel advisors.

Options include rebooking for a later date, a 125% cruise credit or a full refund.

All sailings scheduled on Victory II have been cancelled for the remainder of the 2020 season.

"We came to the difficult decision to consolidate the Victory II itineraries with Victory I due to the shortened nature of our 2020 season," said John Waggoner, founder and CEO of VCL operator, American Queen Steamboat Company.

It praised the ‘patience and understanding of guests and travel advisors during this rapidly evolving situation.’
