Vietjet expands Southeast Asia network with first flights from Ho Chi Minh City to Manila
Vietjet will launch a new nonstop service linking Ho Chi Minh City and Manila on November 22, 2025. The launching marks the airline’s first direct connection between Vietnam and the Philippines.
The carrier will operate five round-trip flights per week, strengthening air links across Southeast Asia and supporting travel, trade, and cultural exchange between the two capitals.
Introductory fares start at $0 before taxes and fees, available daily from noon to 2 p.m. (GMT+7) on Vietjet’s website for travel through March 29, 2026.
The new route adds to Vietjet’s rapidly expanding international network. In 2025, the airline has already opened new services to China, India, Japan, and Singapore. Recently, the airline opened routes from Phu Quoc to Singapore and from Hanoi to Chengdu and Xi’an. This September, the airline is also planning a route from Ho Chi Minh City to Auckland. Domestically, the low-cost carrier boosted its presence in Thanh Hoa with flights to Dalat, Ban Me Thuot and Can Thơ.
Vietjet ranks among the world’s safest airlines and operates a modern, fuel-efficient fleet with a youthful cabin crew.
