Vietnam launches official destination website
The Vietnam National Administration of Tourism has rolled out a customer website offering an one-stop portal for travellers to get tourism information and recommendations.
The official website at www.vietnam.travel lists destinations,, recommended things to do and current deals at local hotels and travel agencies.
It also displays 360-degree videos of top sites such as Hoi An.
As well as content rich travel guides, it also outlines best practice for tipping, and other social conventions in Vietnam.
Via the website travellers are encouraged to ‘share your best #vietnamcharm moments’ on Instagram and other social media platforms.
Meanwhile, VNAT recently concluded a promotional mission in Seoul, South Korea in partnership with budget carrier Vietjet.
Vietnam is looking to attract yet more visitors from one of its biggest markets.
More than 2.4 million Koreans came to Vietnam last year and data for the first five months of this year so far recorded 1.4 million tourists.
