Vietnam tourist helicopter crash kills five
The fifth and final victim of the Ha Long Bay helicopter crash has been recovered.
A tourist helicopter crashed into the water minutes into a sightseeing tour in North Vietnam’s Ha Long Bay.
The UNESCO World Heritage Site is a popular destination for cruising and aerial sightseeing.
According to witnesses, it exploded on impact with the water.
The pilot and the four passengers all died.
All five were Vietnamese nationals.
The crash happened last week, and it took two days to retrieve all bodies.
After the crash, the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam suspended all helicopter sightseeing tours.
The cause of the crash of the Bell-505 helicopter is still unknown.
