Viking river cruise ship damaged in collision
A Viking river cruise ship slammed into a barge in thick fog.
It caused a jolt as most passengers slept on the Viking Kvasir.
Social media posts showed rooms filled with broken glass with some people sustained cuts and bruises, according to media reports.
Viking said there were no ‘significant injuries.’
There was damage to the front of the boat although no water was taken on.
“The ship was cleared by authorities and has now continued its voyage without further delay,” the line said.
Viking Kvasir has a 190-guest capacity.
