Virgin Blue opens The Lounge for Perth flyers
PERTH – Virgin Blue “The Lounge†– with seating for 120 guests – is now open for business at Perth Airport
Virgin Blue chief executive, Brett Godfrey, said, “It is the continued support of WA-based business travellers and mining industry community, together with their east coast counterparts travelling across the Nullabor regularly, that was the catalyst for this significant investment.â€
West Australia has been a core focus for Virgin Blue over the past 12 months, with new intrastate flights between Perth and Karratha, Port Hedland and Newman and additional Broome services.
The Lounge in Perth is located on the ground floor of the Virgin Blue terminal, immediately through the security screening point and is the sixth Virgin Blue “The Lounge†facility to be opened throughout Australia.
