Virgin cruise arm boss steps down

Virgin Holidays Cruises boss Leslie Peden is leaving the company after less than a year in charge.
Peden, who was previously at Island Cruises and Royal Caribbean International, was managing director of the cruise retail arm of Virgin Holidays for ten months.
A statement issued to the trade said he had “taken the decision to leave our business”.
“Leslie will be taking up another senior role outside of Virgin Holidays,” the statement from Virgin Holidays customer director Mark Anderson added.
“Leslie leaves today having helped to lay strong foundations for our future success.”
