Virgin Express and VG Airlines sign commercial sales agreement
Virgin Express and VG Airlines have signed a commercial sales agreement enabling passengers on VG Airlines to/from its American destinations to connect out of Brussels with Virgin Express to 14 major European destinations.
Freddy Van Gaever, managing director of VG Airlines said: “I am very pleased with this agreement and with the fact that Virgin Express has given faith in such a young airline like VG Airlines. The high frequencies on most European destinations, the exceptional on-time performance and the value for money concept of Virgin Express have lead to Virgin Express’ high load factor figures in recent months. We hope that we may record on the VG Airlines routes load factor figures which are as high as those of Virgin Express.”
Both Belgian airlines have said they will also assist each other in the future. Yesterday an Airbus A330 of VG Airlines carried out a Virgin Express return flight from Brussels to Barcelona, due to the high demand on the market after a prolonged weekend. In less than 20 hours, Virgin Express sold 37 additional seats.
