Virgin gives San Francisco passengers option to postpone travel
Virgin Atlantic is continuing to allow passengers booked to travel to, from or through San Francisco today to postpone their trips due to stormy weather on the US Pacific coast.
Passengers can rebook for travel to be completed on or before January 13.
Storms temporarily knocked out power to thousands of customers on the Pacific coast over the weekend and in San Francisco a woman was killed by a falling tree.
The storms weakened yesterday but are expected to return in full force today and continue until Wednesday, however flights to and from San Francisco appear to be operating.
