Virgin Holidays to Sponsor Sustainable Tourism Report

Virgin Holidays, noted for its determined and innovative approach to sustainable tourism is to sponsor the Sustainable Tourism Report 2009.
Part of the deal is that all Virgin staff will have free access to the 115 page report which gives a complete and accessible picture of sustainable tourism today.
Virgin Holidays sustainability initiatives include sponsoring degree students in the Caribbean, operating a voluntourism programme and collecting a donation to support sustainable tourism projects worldwide, from every customer that travels with them.
The operator also champions successful sustainability initiatives through sponsorship of the annual Responsible Tourism awards.
