Virgin launches extra Christmas Montego Bay flights
Virgin Atlantic will be launching five additional services between London Gatwick and Montego Bay during the winter period to meet high demand for flights over Christmas and New Year.
The additional direct flights will use an Airbus A340-300 and will operate on December 22, 23 and 29 and January 5 and 6, departing from Gatwick at 12:30 and arriving at 18.05 into Sangster International Airport.
The return flights will depart on the same dates from Sangster at 20:05 and will arrive at 10:15 into Gatwick the following morning.
Existing 747-400 flights will continue to operate every Monday and Wednesday.
Virgin will also be launching twice-week flights between Gatwick and Kingston on October 30, doubling capacity between London and Jamaica to 190,000 seats a year.
