Virgin Limited Edition opening Mallorca hotel
Virgin Limited Edition, is introducing a brand-new small luxury 28-bedroom hotel on its Son Bunyola Estate in Mallorca.
It consists of the restoration of a historic Finca and surrounding landscape on the Son Bunyola Estate, part of the Virgin Limited Edition portfolio.
Due to open in summer 2023 as the Son Bunyola Hotel, the development will form an integral part of the 810-acre estate, positioned on a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The site already features the collection’s three stand-alone luxury private villas.
It dates back to the 15th century and is surrounded by vines, citrus fruit trees, and olive trees.
The hotel will retain all the original features of the Finca.
It will house 28 rooms and suites, including two showcase Tower Suites – one of which was originally a medieval defence tower built in the 15th century.
The hotel will offer two restaurants, lounges, a several external dining terraces as well as a new swimming pool.
Jon Brown, Managing Director of Virgin Limited Edition, said: “We are absolutely thrilled to have the opportunity to restore this beautiful monument and honour its rich history.”
Bookings for the new hotel will open later this year in anticipation for a summer 2023 opening.
