Virgin sales push to support new flights
Virgin Holidays is to ramp up its sales and promotion of Dubai as its sister company prepares to launch direct flights to the Emirate.
Virgin Atlantic will operate four flights a week from Heathrow starting on March 27, rising to five a week in May and daily in June.
A dedicated brochure has now been launched by its holidays division to provide support for the schedule.
“We are expecting good demand for Virgin Atlantic’s premium economy and upper class cabins because we feel this will complement the ground product,” said worldwide product manager James Gamble.
The programme will feature beach stays, city breaks and twin and multi-centre holidays combining Dubai with Sri Lanka, Mauritius, Thailand and the Maldives.
