Visit Flanders to create WWI awareness in Australia, NZ
Visit Flanders has appointed the Walshe Group in joint partnership with PEPR Publicity to manage its Australian and New Zealand trade marketing, consumer marketing and public relations.
Flanders is the Dutch speaking northern region of Belgium encompassing the cities of Brussels, Bruges, Antwerp, Ghent, Leuven, Mechelen, coastal towns and countryside and the WWI battlefield of Flanders Fields.
The Great War Centenary 2014-2018 forms the core focus of Visit Flanders’ marketing strategy over the next four years.
Flanders saw some of the greatest battles and losses of life in WWI and is now home to many of the world’s most significant WWI memorial sites and museums.
On the trade marketing side, the Walshe Group has assigned Sonia Holt as account manager.
PEPR Publicity will oversee the consumer marketing and public relations component of the account with Anna Mansfield serving as account manager.
