VisitBritain launches new funding for DMCs, inbound operators
VisitBritain announced a second round of funding for Destination Management Companies and inbound tour operators.
The £450,000 DMC and Inbound Tour Operator Amplification and Distribution Fund allows eligible companies to apply for grant funding.
The fund is open to operators who can develop and market new British itineraries.
It focuses on driving tourism across more of Britain aimed at the fund’s target markets.
The markets include Australia, Europe, the Americas, GCC, Australia, Hong Kong, India, Japan and South Korea.
VisitBritain CEO Patricia Yates said: “We are delighted to support DMCs and inbound tour operators drive bookings in 2023.”
“As well as building back inbound visitor spending, we want to broaden travel itineraries.”
DMCs and inbound tour operators who meet the qualifying criteria can apply for individual grant awards of about £40,000.
Applications are now open until 15 December for activity to run from February to June 2023.
