Visitors have reasons for choosing NZ coach tours

For tourists, New Zealand might look like two small islands on a map but in reality, there is a lot of ground to cover, say tourism officials. They cite three reasons to see the country on a coach tour.

1. You never have to say you’re lost. You see the must-see attractions and there’s no anxiety about driving on the “wrong side” of the road. Where to park is also eliminated as any problem. “When you arrive at your activity or hotel, all of the details are taken care of and your luggage is brought to your room.

2. The designated driver is not you. You can feel free to sample the local Sauvignon Blanc of Pinot Noir or even both at restaurants along the way.

3. Your coach tour driver and guide both live here. They know things only the locals know such as where to get the best lamb burger and finest wines.

NZ tourism officials point out there’s a “new breed of coach tour” that includes a wide range of options for visitors to choose their particular interest in what they want to do, where they prefer staying and what types of restaurants they prefer.
