Voyage Prive appoints new MD after Bevan quits
French members-only travel club Voyage Privé has promoted Matt Cheevers to UK managing director.
Cheevers (pictured), who has held the position as purchasing director since spring 2012, will replace John Bevan.
The company said Bevan was leaving the business "to explore new opportunities".
Cheevers was previously managing director at Teletext Holidays and more recently UK managing director at Youtravel.com.
Alexandre Fontaine, co-founder and CEO of Voyage Privé Group said: "Matt joined the business as purchasing director last year and we are delighted that he has accepted the position as managing director.
"With his wealth of experience in the travel industry, we are confident he will help drive the business forward in the coming years.
"During his time at the helm, John has been instrumental in the growth of the UK business and we would like to thank him for his hard work and dedication over the past three years and wish him every success for the future."
