Wallaby star Sharpe goes fishing in PNG
Wallaby star Nathan Sharpe will join one of North Star’s cruises around eastern Papua New Guinea.
North Star offers activity-based itineraries aboard the adventure-cruise ship True North exploring the Papua New Guinea islands.
Coming onboard as a celebrity fishing guide, Sharp will also host informal after-lunch and after-dinner talks about his time as a Wallaby.
The former Western Force Super Rugby captain is also likely to spend some time playing rugby with the children encountered on the Adventures in Paradise itinerary departing December 8.
The cruise features daily visits to island villages, snorkelling, fishing, cultural events and helicopter flights over volcanoes and to the Kokoda Track.
Guests fly to and from Cairns aboard North Star’s chartered jet and enjoy either 7 or 9 nights on-board True North.’¨
Twenty crew-members look after just 36 guests.
The True North cruise schedule in Papua New Guinea begins on October 27 2012.
