Want to work off a few pounds or kilos?
With David Padamus, [pictured right] one of the key gym staff on board SuperStar Gemini, being from Mumbai in India, it is not surprising to hear that he is is a cricket fanatic and along with some of his mates appears to be working his way around the famous cricket grounds of Australia, as Gemini works her way around the coastline, having visited the MCG and the SCG already – he said, more than he ever dreamed he would do!
David, has been on cruise ships for 4 years mainly on the Gemini, with this period of time and much longer being very normal on this vessel, demonstrating the crew’s liking for the Gemini, but he has also worked on the Virgo and Linra.
He specialises in fitness and if his bicep muscles are anything to go by, he does a fair bit of working out himself!
David told the Mole that Gemini also offered a full range of massages and training programmes with an excellent steam room and all the latest gym equipment – he tired to persuade The Mole to try some, but lunch and a beer were beckoning!
He did say something very telling before The Mole sprinted off – he said, “working on the Gemini is about doing your work and doing it well and not pretending, just being yourself.
