Wayne Pearce quits Gold Medal Travel
Gold Medal Travel boss Wayne Pearce has left the company after eight years.
Founder and chairman Ken Townsley is to resume day-to-day management of the Preston-based operator, the company said.
The statement said: “As the company now faces different choices as to its future strategic direction, Wayne felt that this was a logical time for him to move on.”
No other explanation about his departure was offered, other than to say Pearce had eight successful years with Gold Medal.
“The company has enjoyed many years of growth and change underpinned by significant technological advancement,” the statement said.
