Westin’s dozy survey: Sleep is better than sex
SINGAPORE – Put “great sex†in a headline and you can bet it will grab people’s attention.
It certainly worked for Starwood this week with its media release headlined, “A great night’s sleep trumps great sex in new Westin Hotels sleep studyâ€.
Predictably, the survey was swooped on and reported extensively by mainsteam media and travel trade news sites.
According to the release, more than half of the Asian respondents (52%) preferred a good night’s sleep to a great night’s sex.
Presumably, the other 48% of respondents preferred great sex to a good night’s sleep.
Or maybe they enjoyed both – a good night’s sleep after great sex.
We’ll never know because this question didn’t appear to be part of the study.
